New Designs, New Hair

Whether is from being in blog land again and getting inspiration all the beautiful things out there, or I’ve just been knitting from patterns so long that all the designs in my head are bursting to get out, I’ve been bit with the pattern design bug again.  I’ve been bit so badly, that I spent all of Sunday cursing over charts, finally giving up and trying something else, casting on and knitting like crazy.

I actually think I’ll have finished knitting this in the next few days.  I am planning on resurrecting an old pattern, adding new photos to the Around the World socks, and making Uniscarfity a pdf finally.  I already have another pattern I’m knitting up, and at least two more in my head.  Whew!

I’ve also had several requests from friends and family to see my new short hair.

It’s actually grown quite a bit, and I’m due for another hair cut soon.  I lopped it all off a few days after the wedding, and am really enjoying it being short again.  I’ll probably keep it this way for awhile, then grow it out to a new length.

Can’t wait to show off more of the designs!  Wish me speedy knitting.
