University Symphony Concert – 10/22/06

One of my goals this year is to post concerts I’m playing in well before they happen so that if you folks in the Eugene area want to come, you can. The University Symphony will be playing next Sunday. Here’s the info;

• University of Oregon Symphony
• Beall Hall (on campus)
• Hindemith – Sinfonische Metamorphosen
• Beckel – Fantasy after Schubert
• Barber – String Adagio
• October 22nd, 2006, 3:00pm
• Tickets – $7 & $5

If you haven’t heard of the Beckel, that’s because nobody has really played it yet. It was commissioned by the Indianapolis Symphony and I think that was the only time it has been performed. It should be a good concert, and the ticket prices are dirt cheap. For more information go to the School of Music Calender.
