Playing Catch Up
June 15, 2007
I’ve been working on catching up all week with e-mails, organizing photos, dealing with my new obsession for ravelry and reading blog posts. I can’t seem to keep the to-read list under 200 for very long. I think it means some of the posts will have to be sacrificed. If I can’t get to them by the end of next week, we’ll have to start fresh.
I have some pictures of my garden!
Tall Pea Plants and some Beans.
Peas up close. Yummy!
This is my newest plant. A studnet gave it to me, because they know what a fiber geek I am. It is Madder, and when it grows up I will be able to use some of the roots to dye fiber a beautiful red color. I think it’s very happy about finally being put in the ground.

Ok. 1) I am jealous of your peas. I LOVE peas and just paid $4/lb at the farmer’s market (so worth it tho). 2) Under 200? I’d love under 2000. I have “work” rss feeds in there tho so i can blame those. right? 3) I just dumped a bin of yarn into the middle of the floor. Now I have to organize and photograph it for ravelry. tricky me. ;) and 4) what is it with music students giving us *red* ? I received a beautiful red tee from my (only) bassoon student (10 years ago, eek! he’s probably all grown up). Good luck and enjoy the weather!
oooh madder! i have some sock yarn dyed with madder and something else that made it a pretty purple color.
