Stash Booty
In honor of talk like a pirate day, I be sharin’ me treasure that I recently pillaged for. Click on yer photo to see a larger view. (Okay I really suck at talking like a pirate, so I’m giving up now.)
Anthony picked out this sock yarn all on his own. He actually digged through the bin of sock yarn to find the one that he liked best. As a matter of fact, he bought it to. It was so cute.
This here sock yarn is my first Lorna’s Laces Shepard Sock. If you have any advice with this yarn, I will gladly take it. I know it can pool like mad, but I’m not sure if I think that’s a bad thing.
This is the yarn for my Coral Crossing sweater from the IK Fall ’06. I can’t wait to start it. (Squirm, squirm, squirm)
This is some sock yarn to play with. I’m really enjoying using the solid colors. Obviously I was on a blue kick when I did my Knitpicks order. The blue, red and green on the right are for argyle socks.
Some sock yarn for experimentation! I need to do some dyeing before the weather is rainy all the time. (Obviously I’m on a sock freenzy!)
This is some Merino Spinning fiber. (You didn’t think I would do stash enhancement without getting some fiber did you?) I haven’t spun with Merino yet, but I’m really excited about trying some out. I got two ounces of each color, and they will be spun together in some way. Not sure how yet.
I actually have a few more things to show you (can you say shopping spree?) I think I’ll have enough to knit for a crazy long time. Actually I know I do. Okay, back to the knitting/spinning.
Looks like you’ll be busy!
Ok, now I feel guilty for not knitting my hubby some socks! But he has size 13 feet!
Yeah, I have been busy. I would be a lot less likely to make socks for a size 13. Be carful, once you knit one pair for him, he’ll keep asking for more.
Whew! That is some serious stash enhancment. Excuse me while I clean up the drool over here. ;)
Serves you right Jessica! I’ve been drooling over at your site for awhile now with all the stash enhancement you’ve been boasting. ;)
