Cardigan Pattern
Announcing my first pattern for sale (almost). It is called the Claire Cardigan. I gave a little sneek peek of the yarn I was using, but now I want to show you a little bit more of my progress.
This is the detail on the edge of the sleeve. It will eventually be all the way around the collar and the open front of the cardigan.
This picuture gives you a good idea of the shape of the cardigan. It’s a cropped sweater made to go over a fitted tee, or a tank top. I was originally interested in making something that would allow me to look a little more professional while teaching and use some of my tanktop wardrobe. I’m have a lot of tees and tanktops. It is also seamless which was something that I had been interested in trying. (Who likes seams anyway?) There are absolutly no seams on this baby, and it has been quick and fun to knit.
I stepped away for a few seconds to put new batteries in the camera and found this.
If this isn’t a cry for a kitty pi, I don’t know what is. As soon as I get some more scrap yarn Jasmine, I’ll make one for you. Right now, I don’t have enough wool to felt.
If you are interested in buying this pattern, it will (hopefully) be avaliable at the end of September. Leave a comment or e-mail me that you are interested, and I will let you know when it’s avaliable.
Am very interested in your seamless cardigan pattern. Please let me know when it is ready for sale. Your hand dyed yarn is absolutely lovely!
Hello, saw you mentioned on the Yarn Harlot’s blog and thought I would stop by. The pic of you and her together in the post below – makes me think you could pass for sisters (or some relation) because you look similar!
Your cardigan is looking great, and I love the colours you’ve used. Hope you do well selling the pattern.
Thank you Ella, I’ll be e-mailing you as soon as I get it done.
Shelly, thanks for commenting. I got over 400 hits the last few days and only a few people actually commented. As far as us looking alike, it’s the same crazy curly hair.
I like the description and looks of this cardigan…and it’s name! please include me when it’s finished, I think I’d like to try it. thanks
I’ll give you an e-mail when it’s done. A cardigan with your name too! How could you refuse? ;)
