House Progress

We have gotten closer and closer to moving in. I’ve started packing up my apartment. (I hate packing) and I have new progress pictures for you! First the horribleness that was the house when we first looked at it.

Here is the dinning room area;

And the slightly improved dinning nook;

I say slightly because we had a surprise under the carpet. (Don’t you love those?) The darker floor is vinyl tiles. The hardwood seems to continue under it, but we haven’t decided what to do yet. We will probably lay tile on that portion. The three squares of lighter color are tiles we are considering.

Right now we are painting the trim in the room. We have blue tape everywhere, and the trim is getting painted a nice sage green. We must like green huh? It should match well with some curtain material I picked out.
