Office Photos

May 31, 2006

Here are the office photos I promised awhile ago.

This is a reminder of what it originally looked like;
Yucky Office

Here’s the office with the first coat of paint on;

Office with new paint

As you can see it still had the horrible “Elmo” carpet. Red shag yuckyness.

Then we painted stripes and took up the carpet.

Pretty office

So now we have to buff the floors and put a new coat of protecting stuff on. Also, we haven’t painted the trim. We have painted the living room though. Pictures of that coming soon.

    Love the stripes on the walls. The color is good for an office, I think. Are you going to keep the hard wood floors, or add carpet?

    We are keeping the hardward floors. All of the house has horrible carpet over these beautiful hardwood floors and we are uncovering them all. I am however going to put a rug over my violin studio. Small violins hitting the floor (they occasionaly do) could be a bad thing.

    It really does feel transformed too. It’s really starting to feel like ours. I can’t wait to actually move in!

    Great floors and I love the stripes! Congrats on the Magknits design! I might just be knitting that one!

    Thanks for stopping by Lori! The stripes were definitely worth the work it took. Of couse the painting went fast, but all the taping before hand…
