One Skein Exchange
If you hadn’t noticed, there is a new button on my side bar that says One Skein on it. That’s because I have a secret pal. I know it’s kind of cheesy, but it’s also a lot of fun. I’m going to get special yarn treats in the mail from someone, and I also get to send a few surprises to a total stranger as well. I’ve always thought that the Secret Pal exchanges were interesting, but never really in my budget. However, this one seemed just right, and a lot of fun.
I don’t actually have the One Skein book. I’ve looked through it, and really liked it. I came very close to getting it, but it’s so hard for me to buy things like that for myself. Mostly I would like to get a few skeins of some interesting yarn that I may not have tryed before. Either way, it should be fun.

I was just randomly looking through kitting blogs and found you. I also signed up for the One Skein exchange- it’s the first one I’ve participated in. I thought it would nice to receive fun things in the mail for a chnage, not just bills!
Do you know what you might be making yet?
Thanks for dropping by! I haven’t decided much of anything yet. I haven’t even decided what skein of yarn I’m going to send first. I’m so glad that I was able to get in on the One Skein exchange.
I do know that I’m getting some spun yarn from my secret pal. I keep dreaming up colors and can’t wait to see it.
Soon I’m going to do a little yarn shopping (oh darn!) and pick something out for my pal, as well as stock up on some sock yarn.
