Perfect Sunday
I’ve had a great Sunday…actually a really great weekend. It was much needed, because last weekend was so hectic. First, I just have to say how excited I am with all the house stuff. It is less than two weeks till the closing day and almost all of the loose ends have been tied up. I drove by the house several times this weekend (I’m not stalking, I was in the neighborhood) and it was great to see what a nice house, neighborhood, and street we will live on. Anthony and I checked out a few books on painting techniques to get ideas and soon we’ll be packing up all of our stuff.
As for today we were able to have a great breakfast at Keystone, spend some time in the park and I got a ton done on knitting stuff. Spring is so beautiful here and I haven’t been able to spend nearly enough time outside. It was a little cooler this weekend than it has been, but enjoying the park we soon will be living close to was really nice.
In knitting news I have two new patterns that I will be publishing on my blog. The first is a pair of socks (Globe Trotter Socks) I’m halfway through the second sock and most of the way through the writing process. I also have the “Saturday Market Bag” that will be a mesh bag great for summer reads, and market shopping. I’m almost done knitting it and will be writing it up soon. They both will be up soon.
I’m starting the fifth week of this term tomorrow, which makes it mid-term. Thank goodness no big tests. Just lots of practice and concerts. Hopefully I will be able to fit in some sun time too.
That’s very exciting. I remember driving by my house repeatedly before the closing. Have a blast!
that’s fantastic, where in eugene will you be living? i can’t stop being excited for you, that’s such an excellent undertaking…
It’s funny because I haven’t driven by until this weekend, but this weekend I drove by three times. The first time I was taking a friend to show her, and I couldn’t quite remember how to get there. I can’t wait to see it again, inside and out.
We are moving up to the River Road area. Hopefully you and Kat will be able to see it soon.
