Happy Hookers – Crochet Stitch n’ Bitch
March 6, 2006
Oooo Oooo Ooooo! I get to tell you about the latest coolest book for crazy fiber people like me. It’s a crochet book by Debbie Stoller, the same author that did Stitch n’ Bitch and Stitch n’ Bitch Nation. I’m supper excited about it because even though I have become such a knitting freak, I was originally a crocheter. I can’t tell you how many people I have taught to crochet or how many scarves and hats have come out of my hooks. I haven’t actually seen the book yet, but I can’t wait to see what cool funky patterns she has in there. Not to mention her clever ways of explaining how to hook yarn through loops. As soon as I get my hands on a copy, I’ll be sure to report back on what I find.

I flipped through it at the bookstore yesterday. It’s not what I would personally buy, but it is very colorful and has great photos.
That’s disappointing. :( I was counting on something to inspire me to go back to being a hooker. At least we can count on more people coming over to the crochet side. I’m going to have to check it out soon.
