Sock Update

So I have been working on my socks and they are coming along.  On Thursday I went to The Knit Shop (soon I’ll be living there) again and they taught me how to do a heel.  So now I have a heel, started my gusset, and will be doing the foot part this weekend.  I’m going to Ashland with my Aunt Sue and Uncle Harry to visit my cousin Sam.  I saw my Aunt Sue about six months ago, and I can’t remember the last time I saw the others.  

Back to my socks!  So I found out that my cuff is a little bit too big.  (This is why I’m making them for me; I know they won’t really be worth giving away)  Otherwise the cuff is the only mistake I’ve made.  I am also trying to type up the pattern that I’m using, including all of the little tips that a normal pattern wouldn’t tell you.  Once I learn how to do the toe, I will either post it, or you can e-mail me if you’re interested in making them.
